Ver 4.6.
All 8 players start on the same continent.
Only 4 CS, all separated from me by other players on the same continents. (I'm Iroquois, gray color).
7 CS alone on another big continent.
I had to admit it will be a very difficult game for seldom space to build my city.(Surrounded by AI from...
If the supply system is too controversial, I would like to discuss the reducing units suggestion first.
Let’s imagine:
Your opponent have 4 units defending.
You have 6 units in the frontline, kill their 4, with all of the 6 injured. If you are not with a huge leading in tech, they may be...
Spears/Pikes built by AI do make Human cavalry unusable. Cavalry are weak in defending, Spears/Pikes can severely damage or kill them after their attack.
But Spears/Pikes built by Human are weak especially facing Range units, easily killed when being the focus.
Human players hate losing any...
I think AI would be difficult to handle the "forming army" system well. In civ6, corp/army means slightly higher strength and higher production cost. It would be more simple to just make late units cost higher and have more HP.
The most efficient way to prevent traffic jam is reducing the units...
I haven't read this thread when posting mine, are we proposing two very similar ideas?
I think it may be better to work like a currency like faith or gold or strategy resources in Civ6, instead of the strategy resources in Civ5...
Yes, so supply is no more just a cap, but a resource you need to produce and consume. It will reach 0 if too many units are injured in the war. Then you have to stop the costly war for a while, or run the supply project in some of your cities.
Instead of just one-time production and some gold...
Considering war not only costs production, but also lives of people and lots of gold, the supply project could be food+production+gold conversion. Hence, the cities running supply project not only stop growing, but also provide no gold to the whole empire.
And because units have their...
I have seen many players complaining about late game war tedious and too many units to control. I think the main reasons for too many units are:
1. They are too easy to be killed or severely injured, thus we need extra units to continue the war. We have to build more.
2. They just cost one-time...
In a old thread it said:
"Minimum of 3 visible combat units within 4 tiles of one of your cities, units within the AI's own borders count as half. Can't ask if you've given them Open Borders or you have a Declaration of Friendship/Defensive Pact."
Had it been changed? What should I do if I am...
The Allies CS wants to cross my land and attack my enemy. But instead of helping me, they are just occupying crucial tiles, and my units can do nothing but sitting there. I have to put some units in my land just to prevent my Allies units causing traffic jam. Please allow closing border to them.
