I think it was a change for the better; allowing me to export my 1 resource.
I had to restart once because of it ofcourse.. but now I know;
This gives me more possibilities to get my hands on resources I do not have yet. (critical resources, that is.)
I have the exact same. Stable and running perfectly smooth. (1GB ram ofcourse)
* Check your MOTHERBOARD drivers
* Check you GFX drivers to latest version
* Check for spyware on your system.
If all that is ok.. you should not have any trouble.
Most important is to:
* Install newest graphic card drivers
* Install newest chipset drivers for your motherboard (This is sooooo important! I can't stress this enough).
* Install anti-spyware stuff to keep the junk out of your system.
Should already make a hell of a difference...
Your system is more than sufficient to run CIV IV
There's just a few things you should take care off:
Visit www.nvidia.com for your latest graphicscard drivers
if you have a VIA chipset on your motherboard install these: http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=1&CatID=1070...
