Thanks Hoplite these drivers seem to have fixed the issues. At least all that i have found so far. Also, when i installed the Omega drivers I got the Windows Logo Testing bit and ignored it. The drivers are working just fine.

Wow, thanks a ton, I appreciate it. Mine is a Geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8X. Is that an acceptable driver? I have an HP pavillion a430n, amd athlon xp3200+, 2.9 GHz, 1G of ram. I think I'm sufficient on the requirements. Am I wrong?

Guys, I'm not computer savvy at all with gaming. The only games I do play are Settlers of Caatan and Civ3. Now that I've uped to Civ4 I'm having the black tiles problem. I want to use Hoplite21's suggested fix but I have no idea what type of graphics card I have. How can I find out this info?
