A longtime fan of the Civilization series. I have been playing Civ3 for about 15 years and I still play it regularly and prefer it over the newer games. I admit I was not the best player of civ for many years, but the past few years I've improved a ton and I now play teamers on civ3 multiplayer almost every day. They are mostly 3v3s and 4v4s using the QC scenario (check CivPlayers Civ3 League on Steam).
MP games with the remaining players left on civ3 is very challenging and tough. Stack vs Stack just doesn't always cut it, though it can if you are able to get the small window before they hit your city; but many times you do not have a decent counter stack, so you then just have to outsmart and defeat them by defense with only half of the number in their stack. It can be especially helpful if they do not hit the city instantly

. To really take down a hard foe, you may have to hit him from multiple directions and in some circumstances, pillaging his production, so that he cant replenish his defense so fast.
Besides owning Civ1-Civ5 with all expansions, I also own/play many other games like Call of Duty, Verdun, Age of Empires 2/3, and Minecraft. I have been playing Call of Duty almost as long as civ, and I mainly enjoy the older ones like CoD4, WaW, and MW2.
