I use farms, cottages, windmills, watermills, just about all of em.. Not sure its a good idea, but hey since they have brought them in the game i might as well use em.

Yes the fact that my cossacks upgraded to choppers did puzzle me. Air assault infantry is much better if you think about it. Because when u see the term gunship, and then look at the graphics. I just get a picture in my head of bunch archers trying to hit an apache or a cobra.

Dolittle is all fine. But there is no way in hell u are gonna make a stealth bomber take off from the deck of a carrier. Or a lancaster for that matter.

I have been playing a minor world war with two continents. And i used carriers and fighters, yes they dont have collateral, but i thought, better than nothing. Then when i got the beachhead i brought in the bombers. Never knew i could rebase bombers in friends cities. hmm changes the strategical...

I must say that it still amazes me to see my gunships get picked out of the sky by longbowmen. I mean i can take that my modern armor loses a battle against pikemen. they must be using molotovs ;) But there is no way in hell a longbowman is gonna shoot down a gunship. but that really isnt new...

But have you allowed for permanent alliances to be formed at all. i have only played customs, and if i remember correctly u have to check permanent alliances for them to be made in game.

Woodsman promo isn´t completely useless, on lvl 2 u get double movement in woods....pretty handy for surprise attacks out of, or in jungle.

I have had a very interesting game last night, huge continent, with only 11 civs...And wars to boot, i was playing as russia, with america on my left and gandhi on my right, no wars there though, i converted both to my own religion, so we where all buddys,but then around 1250ad, hell froze over...
