Anyone notice this building is missing....

Remeber in civ 3 the SAM sites, well Ive gone through quite a few games now and have oticed that there are no longer SAM sites you can build.Not that i really care but this goes hand in hand with a lot of things that they took out in this version.

Well now they have sam inf. just a mobile sam site that can fight. They look very cool when they fight

The one thing I really miss in the civ games is when you would conquer a city in civ I it would show the city view screen and then your troops would march into it. That has thus far only been in civilization 1 and was excluded from all the rest. That bites.

That would be a good feature! My guess is it's no longer included because you'd need a different screen for every era and probably for every culture as well. Too much disk space for a relatively minor goodie.

Of course there are no Babylons so it makes sense.

Wow, you're right. I never even noticed! With so many wonders in the game, how could they omit one of the greatest wonders in human history? I mean the great wall is right up there with the pyramids as far as wonders go.. My only guess is that now that wonders show up on the map, there was no way they could visualize the great wall.
