I agree wholeheartedly, especially about the privateers. I used to build loads and have around 20 at any one time (coastal cities permitting) and caused havoc with transports without having a war.

Marmoset, most of the catapults had Combat 1 but the swordsman, no, nothing. Meffy, I see what you are saying but hpw can a single swordsman take out so many units without healing?

Nice one thordK I have made the changes and playing and so far so good! I think there will be many hours, days, weeks, possibly months of play in the same game! Do all of the figures need to be increased in the XML file? The confusion for me and I assume thenooblet22 is that there is no definition with tthe figures. Year increment 20 and turns increment 100 and the next is Year increment 10 and turns increment is 200. Thgis does not make sense how can...

The bugging problem I have is that the pointer stops working which makes gameplay very hard to control. The only way out is to shut the game down and reboot, because the pointer even in windows is not working. Actually it vanishes completely!
