Ack, I just tried that on one of the last games I played. Sectioned off a large peninsula from a large pangaea map and 3 barb cities poped up on it :sad:

Long Epic. Just makes me bond with my cities much more.

Creative/Philsophical for me.

I'm 19, started CIV II when I was 14.

I'll just try a few games on the lowest to get the hang of major changes to the game.

Hard to determine without knowing their stats and abilities compared to their counterparts.

World Map first, one less thing I have to worry about.

No, No You get every civ advance that are known by two other civilization. not two advances that other civs know.

Here is a new map that I am working on.

there are plenty of forests to chop down. mountains are located with deserts following them. Each starting location has a river going through it.

Thanks for the input, what size do you play? Standard? I may come out with a smaller map later but i would like input on the map itself. I think I went a little heavy on resources. I am thinking about getting rid of some of them in a newer version. And how about the continental placement.

This is a huge map (180x180):eek: . This is my first map so I would encorage your opinions. There are 20 starting locations so the player locations are more balanced. There are islands full of resourses to find.:scan: So what do you think?
