Fortify combat Strength bonus is +3 +6

didn't find this anywhere so did a quick hotseat test. did not have the patience to do a exhaustive test but : -skipping turn will not provide auto fortification like it did in civ V -takes "a while" [full action turn not disturbed? by enemy attacks] to get the +3 and then the +6 bonus so...

Liberty Wide Game Guide (Acken's version)

Before my latest civ V hiatus ~this is what I was experimenting with in my latest lets plays. 7-8 Liberty cities + Full_Honor+Some_Commerce+Autocracy for late game tank/battleship floods. Far from optimal but fun covering the screen with tanks. The wideness usually helps securing at least some...

Community Deity Game #1 - Persia

Might give this one a go after I finish my current Xcom long war campaign (could be easily another month ). Sounds like a match for HCA but not a perfect one. Honor opening delays war if possible - keeping a 10+ army while at peace is not economically feasible on civ V. So war with pikes and 3...

    The Deity Challenge Line-up #41 - Shoshone

It is so easy to piss off the whole map as Shoshone just by dropping 3-4 huge cities ..Grabbing land to aggressively/every one covets our lands .

    The Deity Challenge Line-up #13 - Indonesia

From the book of MadDjinn "..above a certain graphic details threshold rivers are animated and you can see the direction of the water flow. That direction points towards (ocean, sea, another river ..) . So more often than not a river will give you a direction towards a likely close coast but not...

A Guide to Playing “Small” on Deity (feat. Piety)

Imagine the horror if were otherwise... AIs dumping their huge stacks raising all CSs above 1k influence points leaving NO CS accessible to the player. You play Austria/Siam/Hreece (sorry no CS to use your UA on) . Patronage ? A useless policy tree to dump policies if you manage to have more...

    Domination on Immortal/Deity - a noob's guide

Always wanted to try that dutch map . Been dreaming of a logistic (barracks + armory) Oxforded sea beagger powered spam (with england supplying the SOTLs) conquest of the world. Dido also tends to have watery preference so even more ships ready to be requisitioned for the cause. Perhaps a few...

    The Deity Challenge Line-up #39 - Austria

the sooner you do it -less infrastructure in the city.. -less time to have the economy capable to support the new army.. -less money surplus to upgrade units.. My current opinion is the you must give it time to build the stuff for you without you having to endure the happiness and maintenance...

    The Deity Challenge Line-up #39 - Austria

Turn 100 might be too soon. Maybe go to war pillage a few cities (and units if honor) and then marry if conditions met (happy reserve, gold reserve, big army in good spot). Honor finisher leads to snowball (more units to kill/pillage more to buy even more units) - injecting a significant number...
