I'm having this EXACT problem. Double click the Civ4BeyondSword.exe icon. Nothing happens. No error messages. No nothing. If I bring up Windows Task Manager I can see "Civ4BeyondSword.exe" running and using some memory. I've gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall BOTH Civilization IV...
