Thanks for the link whoward, but after 3 hours of downloading... it failed to install Shell (Isolated) - all the other components installed, but it said - "Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Licenses\9E...... Verify that you have sufficient access to that key...

Ya - ok - I can only start mods if I am connected to the internet. If I disconnect from the internet after starting the modded game - then I can carry on playing. If I try to set up a mod game while offline - Civ 5 G&K crashes.

Yes I have "Hide Extensions.." So I clicked on ModBuddy with the icon and it still comes up with a picture of (Stone Henge?) but on top of that says "Invalid license data. Reinstall is required." Same as if I click on the ModBuddy shortcut then on ModBuddy in the window that opens.

I don't have a ModBuddy.exe , only Modbuddy.exe.config ....

I went all the way through and have Modbuddy.exe.config - If I click on that it says it can't run it - now I've been directed here - *snip* - I guess I'm gonna download it.... all this data is costing me a fortune here at the South of Africa!

I downloaded a long list of Mods over the past months and in Civ 5 they were on "pages" 1 - 4. I had to click on the different pages to look for the mods I wanted to use. When I downloaded Gods and Kings it put all Mods onto one long page, which I had to scroll down. The game would crash not...
