Now if i had an XBox, i would switch to Revo

I don't know why I came back, but it was against my better judgment. It's clear the OP is a troll, as he misquotes and then attacks the incorrect quote. I never said there is only one good move in chess, my friend. I said there is one BEST move, among many good moves.

Now if i had an XBox, i would switch to Revo

What you do not understand is how to read english. I said that there is a best move, and there is only ONE best move, and that is what you are looking for in chess, and in checkers. The one best move is hidden among five or ten in checkers. The one best move is hidden among dozens in...

Now if i had an XBox, i would switch to Revo

There is always a "best" move in chess or checkers. In checkers, there is not ONE move - there are many that can be made. One is the best. In checkers you must find the right move from among 5-10. In chess, you have to find the one right move from among dozens. Is it easier to find a...

    Can't find...what do locks mean?

I can't find this anywhere. What do the lock icons mean near people within the cities?

Sometimes I can't make people do stuff...

Yep...I took people out until it was no longer in starvation mode, and then I could get the previously non-working people to join the town. It's annoying having to move everyone out, then move everyone back in, but it works.

Sometimes I can't make people do stuff...

I also figured out that a person will not join a settlement if it is in "starvation" mode, with a negative food "income."

Sometimes I can't make people do stuff...

Sometimes, no matter how many times I drag/drop someone from the "garrison" to a place, they won't go there. It's happened with converted natives, elder statesmen, etc. They won't farm, they won't go to the town hall, they won't chop wood, they won't make cigars, and on and on and on. Every now...

Early on, not sure what buildings to build...

So early on, I have a coastal port that processes and ships off goods. All the other colonies send raw materials to this port. What buildings should I build in these places? They don't need buildings to process stuff, don't need warehouses, don't need stockades as I usually don't end up fighting...

    Non commercial economy

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm not playing just to win. I'm playing to have fun, and half the fun is finding good places to gather and create a viable trade empire. Sure, I could just get guns and win, but that's not so fun to me. It's the journey, not the destination. :o)

    An atheist's choice

You're right, I'm wrong. Praise Jesus! In any case, I still cannot recommend Rise of Mankind enough. There are two great new civics: Secularism, and Free Religion, which both represent two versions of alternatives to religion.

    An atheist's choice

You are aware that the Greek letter "x" represents Christ, from the Greek letter chi (shaped like an X) of Christos (Christ), aren't you? It's easier than typing Christ over and over. It's shorthand.

    An atheist's choice

Yeah, well 80% of Americans claim to be Xtians, but never go to church, and do not follow Christ, and do not know the first thing about the bible. Most could not even name the four Gospels, or the first five books of the bible for crying out loud. I'd say these people make up 75% of this 80%...

    An atheist's choice

Don't assume anything, please. I don't think it was me, but some choose to delete all references to Christ, as many (myself included) do not believe that he ever even existed, even as a man on this earth. This is how I feel when dealing with most Christians. Most do not even follow ten...

    An atheist's choice

You may not believe in a god/gods, but you may believe in a sort of energy that unites all living things. Atheism, etymologically, means NO religion; however, in today's culture, Atheism means no belief in god(s). Generally, atheists do not believe in life after death, but there are many...
