    The Song of the Moon

I dont really think I have any interest in 'working' on this mod. It has an antiseptic theme which is supported by unique art, which is fun to play... but not my inclination when it comes to design. Any "work" I did would be limited strictly to removal. (ie.. removal and balancing of civic...

    The Song of the Moon

i dont plan on ever playing the mod on a terran map. i'd rather play a terran-derived mod thats balanced for that style map. I'm really at a loss how this concept could be implemented so that it was more intuitive (and the AI fails to trip over it). I considered treating them as National...

    Total War Future

Noone's mentioned Egypt: Total War ? I would rather play Three Kingdoms: Total War though, or a remake of Shogun.

    City Names mod for Sevomod

i think you may have overlooked a minor technicality of the idea... instead of dealing with vanilla civ's city lists, it ignores them and draws upon another list to rename the cities afterwards. if its possible to read the information from an outside list, then it should be fairly routine...

    The Song of the Moon

My first false start was with a terran map, then I hunted down the moonmap and moved it. An installer would be helpful in alleviating this at some point, but not necessary yet, I imagine. Same here, I played at default/standard for all I believe. Honestly, no matter how well you document...

    Dune Mod

I would love to play a Dune mod, but have very meager knowledge of the Canon material, either games or books. However, there's some kinda obvious points from what little I have encountered from the movies and early Dune games I played... #1. Diplomacy should play a major part. I'm not...

    City Names mod for Sevomod

ok, here's an idea that incorporates many of the aspects that you seem to be wanting, although some of them i cant wrap my head around unless you are playing a scenario with a set map and then it would be a slightly easier matter to simply hardcode them into the scenario... anyhow... data...

    The Song of the Moon

Cool mod. The technames were (for the most part) original and fairly intuitive, and while the tech texts were somewhat uninspired at times, at least they were there. I played one or two trial games that didnt get very far in, due to the massive barbarian threat in the game that took me by...

    HOW TO: Design a Mod

At least in terms of a Civ4, I feel "complex" and "more is not better" and "the economy of choice" are all tightly bound together. "To have options we need to have limits, we can’t do it all so some things need to be sacrificed to gain others." This can apply to units, buildings, tech...

    The Age of Civilizations

I really feel Firaxis underemphasized mass production compared to previous civ's, and the introduction of the car didnt really feel all that important in Civ4. I agree with this wonder. (whatever name is chosen), but perhaps the 5 sports cars could be reduced to 2 or 3 and the extra movement...
