only if they took the time to do it right this time-bugs, lack of patches,and unhistorical civs was big :thumbdown for RTW...and the ability to really have thousands of troops,not just cranking some unit slider up(which also warps balance)

the inability to have more than 20 units=the most total BS ever i had 3v3 running smooth with maxed units(20) so why cant i have 1v1 with 50 units??

I would be disappointed by a Napoleon : Total War.
Not that it would be a bad game, but I much prefer the hand-to-hand fighting, and I'm not interested in the gun period.

I would much prefer a Civilization : Total War or even a Fantasy : Total War.

Yep folks this is a bump. I was about to start a new thread, but realized that one exists, so in the interest of conserving our otherwise limitless natural internet resources, I have bumped this thread.

I would totally be FOR both a Napoleon Total War and a Total Great War, or they can be one in the same. Perhaps it can start at like 1750 and go to 1920 or something. The map might be Eastern N America, say, E of the Mississippi, and then the entirety of Europe, N Africa, and the east to about the Eastern edge of the Caspian Sea, or the Urals.
Keep in mind that there is already a Napoleon Total War mod out for Medieval. its rather good, there is an American Total War that is a variation of this user-made mod for MTW. I reccomend checking it out, as it is all kinds of fun. The unit sizes are like 200 or so, and there are battlefields like Gettysburg youy can fight on!

Carthage TW's kinda been done with RTW, you've got Troy total war down but I think maybe a Greek/Persian Total War might be interesting, Mesopatanian Total War kind of thing.

How about this: It begins in early 16th century, with the huge British, French, Spanish, and yes, Portuguese empires. Ottomans and American colonies are there too. Later theres a revolt that happens, which i think is possible in RTW:BI and America struggles for its independence, later America has its own revolt and it has its civil war. Napoleon is going on, there can be PIRATES. pretty sweet I think.
