    I would just like to see swordmen and longswordmen receive the cover 1 promotion for free, and the -33% combat damage against cities on horsemen/knights be moved to the archer line.

    Just want to apologize to my fellow mp's. Houston power keeps cutting out. This isn't usual and am sorry for the second time for instantly being kicked out of the game due to Houston's incompentence.

    Unless a patch changed it, I have had deficits of 20+ and no gold and the only thing that happened was production reduction and no science. I have never seen a unit get disbanded.

    I asked this question on the civ V official forum and was told that the eight units do not include the free garrisoned units. So if you have 4 garrisoned units, and 8 other units, you will have 12 free units. I have not tested this myself, though.
