Great. The difficulty level has come back down. I was concerned the difficulty level was going to keep ramping up from emp. I was loosing interest. I think keeping some variety is good.

Ok I will give it a shot. I did learn alot from my monarch loss. However, I am still struggling on monarch so I will get waxed bad on emp. I played the normal difficulty last time and lost space race 1915. I will try the adventurer class this time. (a couple gold mines near by would help)...

I have not had one CTD with this game. This game works fine. I suspect you do not have minium requirments or a driver or hardware problem. However, by all means take the game back if you can not get it work.

No offense but I am at a lost at how you can compare c4 to anything if you have only played 2 games. You also said you did not play much in those two games just kept restarting.

mine does the same thing. Failed about 5 times. Once I was over 90 percent downloaded. I tried the above links but they seem dead.

I don't like the scoreing system either. Win the game with a cultural victory and get a Dan Qual ranking on nobel. The score system favors early completion way too much.

NVIDA and ATI are the best video cards. I suggest you get one or the other. I strongly disagree with the advice someone gave above to aviod them. They are the best and will be supported by virtually any game that comes out. If there are problems now you can bet they will get resolved. I have...

My game ran fine out of the box. Civ4 does require better hardware than the previouse releases. However, I don't think the requirments are unreasonable. Rick
