Call to Power II had this functionality in a turn-based mulitplayer game built in over 2 years ago. Companies that do not include this functionality are resting on laurels and missing the point on building on known improvements in competitive products.

Best turn-based game I've seen for multiplayer was Call to Power II which allowed simultaneous play. Even better was that in case of modem drops/packet loss/wife turning off computer, the game would sync up automatically when the connection resumed.
ALL MULTIPLAYER GAMES SHOULD HAVE THIS...
Multiplayer capabilities similar to that of CTP2. On a turn-based game you can still resync if you are disconnected. Fully playable even with 56k modem.

C'mon you don't need the patch other than minor tweaks do you? Other than a few visual bugs I doubt you've seen anything that prevents you from enjoying your purchase. Give it a rest.

My moronic friend has been unable to get "Diplomatic Agreements" option to appear when talking to foreign dignataries. I don't have the problem & I'm not sure what he's done but he does have embassies in all capitals. Any advice?
