Damn it's been forever since I last logged in here. How are you guys doing? Any new discoveries or variants in civ III? I haven't played it in forever, was playing some IV, it's alright but I never got the feeling that I get with III to be honest. So...how's it?

You could make the unit be produced at x shields and when its disbanded at destination (read: dropped off) it gives y shield (enhanced with time, probably 60% of the amount put into it at first and then increasing) As a Side note, how about a horse unit that can carry foot soldiers.

We know the position Quintillus was in, Scrambling for survival takes forever, I know from personal experience.
