The idea would be to start with a simple base algorithm and then expand on that. I don't see anything good coming from trying to mess with the current worker AI, as it is a complete mess. phungus420 explains it well above.
Is there a bug in the latest version that takes away the players access to uranium?
See attached save. Clearly I have a uranium mine and I am not trading it away.
A simple algorithm will be better for the AI than anything complex:
1. Always improve special resources
2. Always mine hills (and chop away the forest from hills)
3. Always cottage grasslands
4. Always irrigate plains
There, that alone should make the AI equal to one extra difficulty...
The thing about Alphabet is not only the trades, it allows you to BUILD research, hence REX even more (almost without limit). Currency is even better for this purpose.
Could we possibly have a subfolder to put them in?
They are great, but it looks like 3 out of 4 posts now. It's getting hard to find the Strategy and Tips posts...
Going to give this version a try now.
Would be wonderful if worker AI could be looked at again (remove waste with continous rebuilding of improvements, stop cottages on hills, etc).
