I don't like how the map looks with all those TP's. They should make them back into villages/towns. It's unrealistic to have a city surrounded by a dozen TP's.
Yes I remember when I first saw those ocean-rivers thinking "meh". But after seeing their current incarnation I was completely set off. I'm sure a modder will do the right thing about them.

That could be a good thing. My toddler used to sneak up on the keyboard while I was pondering the things left to be done before ending the turn. SPACEBAR being the biggest key, it was invariably the first thing he touched. Suppose cat-owners had the same problem? :D
While I like the mini-map's layout, what I don't like is the fact that you cannot drag your mouse on it thus dragging the main view, as you could in Civ IV.
