I know you can queue, and I've even fugued out how to make that a slightly smaller pain in the ass by changing the recon hotkey from "R" to "Shift-Z" in XML. Still, having to redo it every 20 turns is a bit of a pain.
I would if I could.
As I mention in the original post the 125 figure was not reached arbitrarily. Attempting to run with the civ capacity set between 128 and 256 causes major problems. The game will start but it's very slow and choppy, it will not reload once saved and eventually the game...
A very, very simple mod, changes the civ capacity from 18 to 125 in BtS v3.13:

I did some experimentation to see how many civs the v3.13 game (and my machine) can operate. Going beyond 128 does seem to cause serious...
Managed to figure it out - for some reason they changed BtS from WL so now you need unique <Type> for each Civilization in the info file. Never was that way before.

One more point you should know - when you start your game you may want to check the number of "points" required for each tech in the tech screen, especially the more expensive modern techs.
Depending on just how slow you want it there is a limit on the number of "points" a tech can have...
Extra civs and leaderheads which I have created in XML (v3.13) are not showing up in the Custom Game screen. Some civs will show some will not.
There is nothing fancy about these new civs or leaders it is simple XML code. I cannot find any errors in the XML that would explain this. And here's...

In the opinion of other players, which is the best BtS mod for increasing and/or removing the limit on # of civs?
Just a modded gamecore would be good enough for me.
Thanks,

Is there any way I can see the "world rankings" window at will, instead of just getting to see a random category once every 50 turns? Also, is there a way to get the ranking window to show all civs' ranking instead of just the "Top 8"?
Thanks,
Rupert
Does anyone have a mod that allows more than 50 civs? I just finished a 50 civ game on a 28X14 map. My machine should be able to feasibly run about 100 or so.

Friends, my patched Warlords 2.08 game seems to have a very annoying tendency to display the error message "Memory allocation failure: exiting program. Reason: bad allocation" and then, as the error message indicates, abruptly kick me back to desktop.
This would under most circumstances be a...
