[SCENARIO] The Cold War (TCW) Unofficial update by Lionic

Great update for a mod classic. I started a game as UK on the huge map and realized that non of the airplanes has the reconnaissance option, which limits the usability of all those nice Vulcans and Canberra bombers. AI WP heavily pushed into Iran and India but destroyed most of the cities. Next...

[RD] Daily Graphs and Charts II: Another 10,000 to come.

Nice graph. Witch trials were more present where reformation and counter reformation met. In Germany the 30 years war was fought and Lutheran an Catholic borders were changing quite a lot. In Switzerland the Calvinists probably caused the same effects. For France the Cathar and Huguenot...

Rise And Rule Revisited (epic mod)

    Admirable Administrative Addresses

German Bundespräsident resides at Bellevue Palace in Spreeweg 1 Berlin. During the Bonn days he stayed at the villa Hammerschmidt. The German chancellor is living a bit more modern in the Bundeskanzleramt

I can only guess, but hydropower can also emit a relevant amount of methane gas due to the decomposition of organic material below the water surface. This seems to be especially relevant if you do not cut down forests before the flooding.

Are you a fan of cars?

The issue is that cars promise a certain kind of freedom - you can go anyplace anytime. Living in a rural area without car is a bit like living without direct access to the internet - it is possible but not desirable for most. So yup cars are bad, but to get people into giving up their freedom...

Are you a fan of cars?

My dad used to be a fanatic regarding cars. He drove some really nice models in his lifetime (Porsche, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lotus, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Morgan...). As cool as those cars a looking and driving he nearly ruined the family several times over the years. So yeah I like me a nice car...

How do people who make around $100k/yr struggle, assuming normal situation?

The easiest way to spend that kind of money is to support someone in elder care. Retirement homes here start around 3000€/month and it is easy to spend 5000€ if you don't want them to share a room with some other person.
