I would like to see the ability to build canals brought back - i think there would be a nice synergy with using them to extend navigable rivers further inland so you can have cities quite far in able to get out to the sea
question on the update - if you turn off score victory and the modern era gets to 100% without one of the final projects completed, does that now become an automatic loss?
My last two games the modern age finished when it got to '100%' rather than me (or anyone else) completing one of the projects... i thought the point was you were supposed to do one of the final victory things to finish?

I'm finding with the domination the loyalty mechanic is encouraging genocide - the only way to stop the capitals rebelling is to raze the AI's other cities. I'm on my way to creating a wasteland and calling it peace.
