I have a hard copy city list of German cities founded by Rome. I'll probably make one for France, Britain, Spain that I'll use if playing one of those leaders. I don't know what I'll do for Ben Franklin. There are some really old settlements in North America. So I might use some of them...
Now that I can see the total yields prior to inserting a specialist, I get it more frequently. But I don't always know what I did to make it happen. Last game I was sitting at 2/5 for a while. I think it was because I slotted a policy, I jumped to 6/5. I'm not sure which had been close...
I've started to turn them off. I got tired of the citizens destroying the exact same building on every turn. No RNG seemed to be active, it seems like there should be a probability of a building being destroyed. Not the exact same buildings every turn.
Under "advanced options" in the game setup there is the "player options"menu". I don't see the whole list of possible opponents. For player two, the list is in reverse order and ends with Fredrick. This is a six player map. The menu for player 6 starts midway and goes to the first person. I...
I think it is a good solution for playing a modern leader that typically does not have a unique unit or building in the early ages. I like that there is a connection between the changes. At this point, I don't know if I would take advantage of the option to stay as one civilization thru the...
One more thing : I'm glad there a not a bunch of achievements for doing really trivial things like "research a technology", etc. I was expecting the typical 2 or 3 dozen achievements popping up on the first game. I don't miss them.
My first game was really crowded. I figured out how to setup a dual game. Much better time learning what to do without 6 AI bugging me for something. When I got to the last age, I beelined to WW1 tanks and battleships and steamrolled over the AI for the win.
I don't know if I am using too many mods or there is some other issue. Some of the UI mods like real great people are deactivating when I load a save game in which they were active.
This is a recent issue. I've tried rolling back some of the more recent mod subscriptions. But I still have...
They would also vote over which of the top eligible players to line up with. If the top players are aligned, they might be given the option to do a joint project. I support your space program helps you. But it also gives me diplomatic victory progress. The smaller nations might require a...
My idea would be that you have to not just win the competition. You have to convince everybody to contribute. No zeros in the final scores. Even the civilization that is struggling to survive with one crappy city and an archer gets to send someone on the final space mission.
I like having the leader pool option. But I would like to have more than two. I would also like to either have preset leader lists of geographic or chronological neighbors. Or to be able to setup and save my own lists.
