I don't know of any other global warming mods, which is why I made one myself. I know Legends of Revolution, BUFFY mod and PIG mod all use it but I don't know of any changes they've made to it.
Hills and mountains can be hit and their terrain of features changed, but a desert hill or mountain won't sink. I considered having them downgrade, (mountain->hill->flat) due to erosion from rising waters but I thought it might be confusing. People might think the mountains were melting.
In the future I might be able to add eroding hills and sinking cities as options.

No, tiles with cities or forts can't be hit.
