I think I may have found my answer. I click next turn and the message belowthe screen shows all the civs and city states processing. I wonder if it kept allthe civs I picked instead of it being randomized

Thank you. I dont like placing cities too close together. I like to have them have their own hexes. It brings out the full potential of one city

in CIV4 i think the space was 2 tiles from the city each side. how many is it in CIV5?

I searched the forums before and the number of times I've played Civ4, I've never had an AI launch a Nuke at me! I thought they couldn't or never do! Kind of freaked me out. Considering I was so FULLY confident I'd win the game with Nukes to back me while the AI never do. I'm certainly wrong...
