CIV1 IS THE BEST! (CivNet is also great)

it seems to me that the only peace-loving civ is the babylonians indians and americans are such @#$%&!#s and always ask for $ even when i can kill them in a couple of turns what's wrong with them :mad:

I have the oldest version, and it has a lot of bugs (especially when population is high)... does anyone know how to patch it? :cry:

though I agree that CIV1 > CIV2, there are some bugs in CIV1 that make it not as fun at late game, when population gets very high... :cry: BUT CIV1 STILL OWNZ!!! :goodjob:

I really like communism, and I actually think it's the most balanced government there is: it lets you have lots of tech and good income + you can be at war. I got russian version of civ... because I'm russian...

I think that they improve your palace if your civ is getting better (cities growing, more income, a lot of tech researching, or if you destroy other civs rapidly) I usually get it if I am the best CIV there is (the one with 4 advisors) Not sure what actually makes them build you better palace...

Ever noticed that Caravans/Diplomats don't take away "shields" because they're not military units? Ever noticed that they can walk on AI squares even if you have peace? Well, they also take away resources from the enemy, if they stand on enemy city square. Caravans/Diplomats are not military...

ever seen a veteran battleship on top of a mountain with fortress? now you can! or a city on ocean which feeds of fish? You can also get a mech. inf. when everyone else didn't even finish building their first militia. this is cool...
