Saw this in the Epic store, and pressed "get". Nothing happens. Tried through the Epic Launcher and a browser. Is this a bug? How do I actually 'get' it?
Hoping World Builder got some decent love. The new UI looks nice, but I hope these custom maps generate city states, or at least, I hope the World Builder allows you to place them somewhere without having to go into advanced mode.
No matter what I try, Eyjafjallajökull wont show up in game. I've played around with rivers trying to get it to show. Nothing.
It seems to need a forest to the north of it to show up in the World Builder too.
Seems in a randomly generated map in world builder, this wonder often 'disappears' when playing the map. Even if the natural wonder is automatically generated, and the terrain near it isn't touched.
Also - underrated post by you. Thanks.
I play with x2, or x3 tech and culture mods on standard speed. This makes the production of units/buildings 'normal', but the tech/culture advances much slower.
Doesn't appear to be - I haven't played since release - and was just thinking of starting a new game and wanted to know if there were any patches - it's annoying to want to try the game again and knowing that a new update is mere hours (hopefully minutes) away.
Any luck with the mods since the new patch. I did have it working, and successfully played a custom map. But either it's now been broken from the last patch, or I'm forgetting something. It just crashes when loading the game.
- Edit - It was PBKAC
I'm not having any luck with this. I create a random default map in the world builder and without making any changes, save it as TZ.
I load it, and the game crashes.
I do the same thing again, this time removing all CS's and reducing the civs to two.
I load it, game crashes.
The indigenous Australians civ would be fun. They could have a special ability in that they couldn't research anything, but gain the advantage of being able to utilise the civics and technology of the most advanced civ in the game, with a plus 20% bonus called "affirmative action".
I've played a few games now where I set out to win via a non-cultural victory. E.g. science or domination. Each time, I win via culture accidently. How is this "the most difficult victory to achieve" (as per the tool tip in the advanced options at game start).
