can you stockpile great prophets, then when your ready use them to get a huge tech boast all at once?

i need some help. starting out is it best to crank out settler after settler or improve and expand on individual cities? i just got civ 4 and im lost on strategies. any pointers would be great.

hi ive been playing civ 3 for years now and i just want some imput. do old civ 3 players enjoy 3 or 4 more and what are the key differences in between the two games

im playing civ3 compete set so thats conquest i think, right? anyway this is my first time playing conquest ive aways used original civ3 and PTW thank you for informing me of navigation ill have to get that ASAP

Hi i just recently starting playing on monarch and i did things very differently then i usually do. because of the difference in difficulty levels i was unable to crank out wonders like i normally would as a result my culture rating was terrible. other then culture im doing quite well but...

its not a great computer but i mean it shouldent take this long

when i try to play europe the map from this forum, its lke 260x300 or somthing, anyway, i just started playing and every turn takes over 2 mins to automate other civs turns. what might cause this? my computer plays 200x200 with no problems
