Steam - hypothetical bankruptcy discussion - split from FAQ

I'm sure the IMF would bail out STEAM. We would surely appreciate it :goodjob:

How many copies of Civ 5 do I need?

Correct! You buy two monitors if you want two people to look at one simultaneously. Just like when playing monopoly every person has to have his own copy. Software is different. You can have 1 license and have people take turns to use it so it is MUCH BETTER. Steam helps this issue...

Steam - hypothetical bankruptcy discussion - split from FAQ

I know if I was filling bankruptcy my 1st concern would be to my costumers

    Steam love

What do you call someone who thinks commercial anti-virus are not a threat to his computer? Go to Comodo and read about some mess up when it got updated. If only I was using sandbox... Anyway, I'm ready for any bad words or names you might call me. As soon as you're chewing on your bone...

How many copies of Civ 5 do I need?

Think of it like a movie ticket. You're given permission to remain in the premises and watch a movie in the mean time. Same with software licenses: you're given permission to use a product regardless the product's cost. You're not actually buying the product. You're buying usage rights...

    "Raiding" civilizations expansion pack?

This would be great. Just make it a 10$ DLC and we're cruising.

    64-bit confirmed

Yes. STEAM will take care of it so you don't have to worry about it.

    Steam love

Before STEAM I was sad and depressed. I often mused about joining my creator in some other parallel dimension. Doctors had lost all hope. Nothing could be done. One day I installed a steam only game. The symptoms began to subside. Doctors were bewildered. I had regained my will to live...

How many copies of Civ 5 do I need?

Must be some kind of retro futuristic experiment. It's much too advanced for present time comprehension.

How many copies of Civ 5 do I need?

YES. You will need two copies. What do you think this is? Monopoly?

    64-bit confirmed

Steam, the wave of the future. No need to apply... (it's mandatory ) Maybe in a couple hundred years, when Steam goes under (or valve, or what have you), they'll release a patch to make it non steamy? :goodjob: on topic: versions for every flavor 32bit, 64bit, DX9 thru 11 ... so, you can...

    DRM Tolerance

I think Steam is a good solution. I have it always on so I vote for always on connection check and not the rest.

Is the Steam DRM just a one-time verification check? Or is it much more?

I like steam. I have close to 50 games tied to my steam account and I'm very happy. I never had any problem with steam service. Once I had to communicate with them because my account had been hacked and I was very well taken care of. Within 4 hours I was back in gaming. The most...
