this question had me going nuts for a while, i was trying to (unsuccessfully) patch a pre patched game.

thanks for the info, the thing that was throwing me off was the version number in the advanced menu, i thought it was rtm for the normal release, and that it wasn't truly up to date...

hey when i try to patch civ 4 complete with the newest patches manually, it says cannot find install and it quits, when i try to auto update it says latest version installed even though its the rtm version. can someone please help me figure out how to get the patches installed, my install...
