To propose a deal with another civ do I need an embassy in their city. or do I need to wait until I am asked to leave thier territory then propose a deal? I've looked on the adivisor screens but can not see where to talk to the other civs. I'm sure it's just something simple, so be kind.

Cheers Guys. Do you have to aquire a certain amount of technologies before you move on to the next age?

At what point do you go back and attain the techs that you missed by heading for unit techs?

When you're faced with a huge list of technologies, which one are you going to choose and why?

I generally like to head down the military domination route, I don't get the whole winning through diplomatic means. Build up the armies. How do you do it??

How do you know which technology to choose next? Do you focus on a unit / wonder / building / Culture?... ...And follow that line in the tree? HELP.
