Overlapping tiles

When a the cultural areas of two cities overlap, how can I assign the affected tiles to be worked by the city I choose?

Go into the city view and put a citizen on the tile that you want worked. It's less a matter of assigning the tiles to a city as assigning a citizen from that city to the tile.

Thanks, it worked, but I did have to move off a worker from the other city before I could get the one I wanted to work the tile.

I feel a little rusty at C3C after playing Civ4 for a while. [I liked the graphics and some things about Civ4 better; but , all things considered, I concluded that Civ3 is a better game.]

I think you'll find quite a few of us here in the Civ 3 forums that would agree with you on that. My Civ 4 disk is just gathering dust now.
