It's like asking a billionaire how many billions he thinks is "enough" - I think.

Isn't that what happens now (remember I do not play with revolutions "On" yet - not normally).

I can't say "someone" wouldn't do so - but if they do, well let them try. Personally I don't think a game with up-to 66 nations or so would be playable under "normal" circumstances - but of course: You will never know before "someone" have tried it at least once. Here I think Walter is right -...

Here we surely have a person, who left his Fantasy somewhere in a young age :old: ......

Naaahhhhh - some of the "primary" nations are also a "derivative" nation to another "primary" nation. This kind of "endless loops" works quite well now as far as I know......

    Realism Invictus

Just a small note.....:old: I know that Derivative and Other nations exist in R:I because they are "created" with a specific purpose in mind. But still I think it is a shame that it is like this. I can only write that I - personally - in my slightly special version use them very much as...

Hmmm - swamps isn't a "beautiful" feature anymore.......

:badcomp::hmm: next task must be "find" 8-9-10K d.kr. then (I simply do not like those small, massive branded PCs that various supermarkets have as a "cheap offer"). .

I can't say I realise - but I do believe in your statement, which I have read at an earlier time. And I also remember the - in my opinion extreme - loadingtime, when I started a SVN-version a few years back...... 20-25 min or so if I remember correct:sleep:. I don't know how fast a new 'puter...

The issue isn't about what the max sizes - in theory - are. I'm sure I'm not nearly close to the max.limits for CiV 4. But if the gameengine can't handle it, then....... I would - if I had reduced the graphics requirements in the game - have been able to continue my game for a shorter or longer...

    Realism Invictus

Then it didn't work anymore - I'm no longer abel to "cancel" wars that cause the game to hang, as the video memory runs out. Still I can't complain..... If I have counted correctly, there are 264 cities ± (ALT+241 :D) a few and 14-15 active nations + 5 barbarian cities on the map. Also almost...

But which version is the best (just in case).......
  14. TheBirdMan

    Realism Invictus

And now a bit more serious. R:I has become much more stable over the past few years. Right now after 918 turns I have 14 active nations (2 new due to separatism) with a total of 232 cities in my game. That's probably a record for me - or at least very close to. Besides the individual turns are...

:hmm: I'm not sure what I would think of people if I saw one - deliberately - buy a keyboard without numpad:nono:. But of course:think:........ I was born in an era where you was supposed to be able to spell and do the math yourself. In fact, we had both ink-math and writing with ink for the...
