I guess I'll try giving him the exes and make sure he makes backups. Thanks for help guys. I wish editing the file so that properties show different version worked....

That sounds dangerous. Are you sure that my exe doesn't have something to do with my steam account? I wonder if deleting the file allows steam to redownload it.

Yeah but steam should update it. Steam says it is updated. He received update the same time I did but his version number did not change. I was just thinking that since there wasn't anything truly different between these two versions (korean localization), I was just thinking that maybe it's...

I got the game on steam. Latest version. My friend has the latest version too but somehow the version number wasn't updated. Mine says 1.0.1.221 while his says 1.0.1.217. Game won't let us play multiplayer. Is there an easy way to edit the version number? or is there some other quick fix...
