Personally I kind of like the idea that your civilization's capital is the only 'big' city that would have the vast variety of building choices that we are used to seeing. And then every other settlement you build is a smaller, more specialized place built for a specific purpose rather then just...
Sort of a rough thought but maybe remove workers completely as a unit?
Instead when you want to build something (road/improvement/wonder/etc) you click the tile you want to build on and select whatever you want to build from the options...and then it takes population from the nearest city for...
Haven't managed to get too far yet...had to quit my last game when 3 elephants started roaming around killing all my scouts and clubmen/brutes. Am enjoying this a ton though, really loving the subdued animals and the sheer variety of stuff to build.
Finally managed to get this to work without the weird crashing issues. Managed to fix my Firefox downloading issue and get the non-torrent version and started up a test game just fine. Still have to actually play but this is definitely improvement :D
Can't start a game, can load the mod and wander around the Civilopedia and menus just fine and set up a game but as soon as I hit Launch it exits/crashes to the desktop, no messages or anything, just exits the game...

Ciadude: I have winrar as well but still don't see how that matters until after the mod is downloaded...
BlueGenie: Looks like it's not right since no torrents show up on the list once the program opens...
Just checking if I've been forgotten about among all the other discussion...Don't think that asking what zip opener I have is exactly helpful if I can't actually get the zip downloaded...
Is there anywhere else to download this from? Just discovered this mod and decided to reinstall the game after a few years of not playing so I could try it...but the download fails with the message: C:\Users\Owner\Downloads\Caveman2Cosmos v25.7z.part could not be saved, because the source file...
I'm curious if its possible to create a Wonder that only 1 or 2 civilizations can get the option for. Pretty much a Unique Wonder like the buildings and units...
I've been browsing the Downloads section for graphics I'd like to add to my game.
The problem is I found a few in the CIV 3 download section that I like but when I looked at the files after downloading I discovered that alot of them are PCX instead of NIF or DDS.
Now to my question.
