Vista SP 2, Intel graphics drivers. What else do you need? I've already done everything suggested on that thread, which is why I don't understand why I can't get it to go. I've also tried running it as Admin and in XP SP2 compatability mode, and every permutation thereof.

Hi all, I looked everywhere for an answer before starting a thread for it. I'm trying to play some mods of the mods board, and they download as a single .rar file instead of a folder or zip like I'm used to. How do I make these playable? Thanks!

I've installed the game (vanilla) and 1.74 patch (and run it), and when I click the icon to start the game, I get: This application has failed to start because D3DX9_32.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Suggestions?

I don't know that it's cheating...is it possible to cheat when your only opponent is an inanimate object? But it does seem kinda lame to me. What's the point of playing if you can't lose?

More difficult, yes, but not impossible. I've won cultural victories without many early wonders, but I've yet to win one without at least two maxed out religions to use for cathedrals. Three is even better.

I've had both together (thanks to a UN resolution forcing me to adopt US). Both rush buttons were lit up, I believe. So you could either rush using population or rush using gold.
