Just for your information, I'm realtivly new to civ4 (5 single player games). But my experience in civ goes back to civ1... that's why I quickly went to monarch. All those 100s of hours playing civ3 weren't a waste after all...

Think bout this... why make a mac civ 4 if mac owners can play it on windows on their mac...

You need the mac version on civ 3. There's no PTW and No C3C for mac. So you'll only have civ3 vinalla. BTW you should update it to 1.29b. This is IMHO the best mac version.

I just bought an external dvd-rom for my mac and I can't install the dvd player app that comes with Panther. I tried reinstalling the hole system, but it didn't worked. Then I tried to reinstall it from my dvd-rom, but it won't restart with the cd when it is in the external drive... does anyone...

The real trick is to have both... That's what I do... a mac for work and a peesea for play...
