I've had this happen numerous times but the obsidian fails to get transported into my cities, despite any number of connecting roads (even with bridge building and sailing and all that, that connects trade routes). The only way that has worked, for me, is to have it connected to a rive.

You CAN get obsidian. The problem is that the volcano has to be on a tile that is next to a river and you must have a city that is built adjacent to the same river. I haven't found any other way to get this to work.

Could have sworn this situation had cropped up on me in "vanilla" FfH... ..I have too many things installed.

This I already knew, but thanks for the reply :) I'm more curious as to stopping it from spreading on it's own, through means in the game.

Sooo...What's the deal with Bradeline's Well and spreading Hell terrain? I mean, I know it does once the Armageddon counter hits a certain number, but including that, what are the other triggers as it seems to happen in some of my games, but not in others. Edit: ...and is there anyway to stop...

Haven't had a broken save, at all. Still can't explore ruins. Also I've just had the most amazing crash ever! I've never seen it before; the game hangs in between a turn, always "waiting on another civilization." Animations still go, the little world the pointer turns into still turns..but...

Apparently the latest patch has also made it so that you can't explore "normal" ruins. The ones that look like a giant Mayan head.

Hate to tell you this, but animal lairs still spawn on mountains. Bears, wolves, spiders..Still there.

My best mutation? Conviction, Strong, Berserker, heavy and light-weight (or whatever it's called), and Crazed. I'm starting to view crazed as not that bad of a draw back. At least it doesn't make my unit feral, which acts as if it has a far higher chance of just the claimed 5% for a unit to...

All depends on what sorts of decisions the other civs have been making. I've played games (marathon games, at that) where the counter jumped from 0 to 30 within the first 100 turns of play. Randomness sucks, sometimes, but then, them's the breaks.
