    Game Graphics Bug/Crash

DX11, Fullscreen 1650x1050, everything except for shadows settings set to high. Still get verticle lines of doom on both new and old drivers.

    Game Graphics Bug/Crash

On an Intel I7 Quad-Core 2.3ghz using a new Radeon HD 5750 1Gig GDDR5 Game randomly locks up with either virticle artifacts or Black Screen of Death. Did not do this on the 4700 Series. Drivers are updated.

It's impossible to play w/ several players online, but what about LAN?

I would like to add that the computers used in that 5 player lan had these processors. (5 Quad Core Computers, 1 Six Core Computer...all computers running with top of the line graphics cards with updated drivers with at least 1GB DDR5 for the weakest computer in the group being a laptop.)...

It's impossible to play w/ several players online, but what about LAN?

There are a few issues actually. I played with 6 people FFA with city-states turned on in a LAN game. The game is actually confused when it does its autosave every turn. Quite often, when we returned to the game after grabbing a bite or something...the save would load up from our host...and...

Nope. You can log off and play off-line.

    ITT: We rage about Steam

Again, just turn off the DMZ and you should be good. Trust me on this. I used to run with DMZ and could never log in to steam. When I turned it off, it worked. Looking at their FAQ's, they tell you to disarm it. Port forwarding and firewalls have very little to do with this as long as a DMZ...

    ITT: We rage about Steam

Battle.net doesn't have to service as many games as Steam. Battle.net has now turned into a very STRICT DRM control as all of their future games (SC 2 included) will REQUIRE you to be on it 100% of the time. Also, you know you're supposed to turn DMZ off to get onto steam....right? That is...

The Digital Delux Edition also comes with the complete soundtrack. So even if they make babylon game day DLC, you still get that added bonus and probably aren't paying in practical theory for Babylon. I'm a composer anyway and I wanted it mostly for the music :3

    Civ 5 and my System?

Probably needs to be in the other forum but, you need a RAM upgrade (needs to be 4 gigs). Everything else seems to be ok.

Worrying review: Tom Chick says AI and Diplomacy are dumb. Has "Serious Problems"

@Thor There are several X-factors with reviews...and who is to say that they wont make a last minute release day patch to deal with AI stuff? Keep in mind that if an AI played like an actual human, at the middle of the road difficulties (prince) people would have serrious problems and no...

    PC Gamer Review September, 20th

Also, who is to say that the copy the reviewers got is the final copy? It is high practice now to patch things up on release day! Developers do like to save some goodies and tweaks til the last minute (or in the case of Civ IV several years) ;)
