I agree with the idea that the only way humanity will unite is with the discovery of alien life that could threaten us or a major global disaster that requires the whole planets efforts to overcome. Any natural progression to a united earth will be fraught by conflict within and between nations.

oil prices in the UK are disgrace in general but where I live is around £1.22 per litre not sure what that is in dollars. The closer you get to Belfast, i.e. the main port the cheaper it gets though.
