not sure if im understanding the problem but here goes...
ok, lets put hammer cost aside and discuss benefit of stadium, specifically to taller empires not wider empires. there are already happiness policies that benefit taller cities. happiness buildings although built in taller cities...
to what? diplomacy? well they could have, but it really wasn't implemented well, or at all actually which is probably why they scratched it, I'm guessing:undecide:
I think its fine as it is. maybe the production cost could be lowered a bit but by the time stadiums come around cities should have a well enough hammers to complete in a decent time. Then again, I almost always buy stadiums during that time anyway because...well...I can.:)
right, so whatever level you played on with civ iv you should go up one from that in civ v lol.
I'd say the disappointment won't kick in until later. Until the new game/new civ high, wears off.Till' then, enjoy the game :)
you know just patching the diplomacy could make the game deeper and less predictable. and add some much needed replay value to the game.
also they tweaked tradition and liberty the last patch, lets make the other social branches more effective. commerce anyone?
this is getting harder as there are no bad UU's on the list. all are good in some way.
