I'm starting college today... EVERYONE PANIC!

Take into account that he is disabled, so he already has his options shortened. I wouldn't choose chemistry, for example, since working in the lab could be dangerous for him. Although he would be able to do computational chemistry. Liberal arts/humanities could be more suitable for disabled...

TigerDirect Unlawfully Restrains And Verbally Abuses Customer For Not Showing Receipt

But if you buy a lot of merchandise, for example at Walmart, you end up with 10 bags and putting the receipt in one bag. It would be a pain if you have to look up in which bag you put your receipt. I think the best option is to design the shop in a way you can't go out of the shop with...

    Stick vs. Auto

In Spain you have to pass the driving test with your teacher's car, which is always a manual. In the USA, OTOH, you can use your own car to take the practical driving test, and that can be an automatic, and I guess many people use an automatic because is much easier to drive, hence, to pass the...

    Stick vs. Auto

I rented a car last week in the US and it had automatic transmission. Actually, I asked for a manual one but they (AVIS) told me that they don't deal with manuals because people used to damage the transmission. No Rent car companies deal with manuals, AFAIK. The thing is that I found automatic...

Which is worse, theft or exploitation / Is theft justified if it prevents immorality?

That's the problem. By using twisted logic you can accuse anybody of exploitation and justify stealing, or even killing them. Twisted arguments lead to twisted morals. Look at the Bolshevists, Maoists, Castrists, Nazists, communists and all these groups that justify stealing and killing...

    The universe's big hole.

I don't think so. And the article discards that possibility. A black hole is full of matter and distorts the space around it. This is just the huge nothingness, no galaxies, no gas, no dark matter, no anything, just void.

    The universe's big hole.

... and it has to be in the constellation Eridanus... :mischief: So, computational simulations also failed to predict this. I have an account at the supercomputer in the MSI at the University of Minnesota, I'll top it to see what programs are running related to astrophysics over there...

    What watch do you wear?

I don't wear any. My cellphone is more precise that any watch you can buy, since is synchronized via high tech stuff. But if you want to buy a watch, look for a thin one rather than thick one with loads of functions you'll never use. Thick ones are very uncomfortable.
