Because you are buring them down. You do not get hammers, until you get bronze working. Until then you burn them down and get nothing.

This is a currently known issue. No fix date has been given, waiting on someone else for the fix.

Best I can say is it defaults to the leaders choice first, and then to the one on the tech, unless you already have had that one chosen by the leader prefered religion. Then you actually get to select one from the list. This was with limited off, but choose on. Thanks for the update on the...

Ok, started a new game, this time with only choose religions on. Playing as Alexander, running the Americans. Got cermonial burial and got Hellenistic again, second one I got to choose, third, forth and fifth religions, were chosen for me. I find it interesting that I was able to choose...

1.75 Have choose religions and limit religions on, however I was not able to choose my religion, tech was cermonial burial and got Hellenistic. No other religions have been founded yet. Also I could not find theses settings in BUG anymore?

I had this problem, and it was due to ROM 2.91 and AND 1.74. Go back a couple pages in this thread and there are some links for the newer version of ROM.

No, 2.91 as that is what the Install Guide says to use. Also I could only find torrent sites for 2.92 and I don't really use those much. Also this was my guess, but I could not find anywhere that you needed 2.92. Thank you.

This time I removed the ROM folder from MODS in the BTS folder. Then re-installed 2.91 ROM, then the 1.73 AND then the 1.73k patch and went to playing the game. On Vista, you need to install your programs to a different folder then "program files". As Vista, will not let you make...

installed 1.74 and patch 1.74b I get a XML tag error regarding no inqustions. I hit ok, and it loads, but whenever I try to start a new game it craps out. I have since re-setup 1.73, and 1.73k which work fine.
