I'm doing a video playthrough of the Svaltalfar on quick speed and Immortal (yes, I've gone soft) with the More Naval AI modmod. Check it out!

Fall Faster speeds up research by 50% while leaving all other aspects of the game unchanged. I find this makes the game much more dynamic and strikes a better balance between production and research speeds.
There are two ways to install the mod:
Replace the file at \Fall from Heaven...
There's a great thread in the vanilla Civ4 strategy forum about which techs can be popped by each great person and in what order. Where can I find this information for FFH2? I've tried searching through FFH2's /assets folder but haven't found anything.
This is certainly true, but even 100 turns later, the same set of 26 stealth bombers would still have been able to take over the world. There's no counter to them, especially among the AI (though the AI would win space or diplo by turn 350 obviously).
The starting save for this one is attached. Thanks for watching! I'll be taking a few months off until the expansion comes out. Until then, a last thought for discussion: do you think stealth bombers are as game-breaking as I think they are?
I think my Songhai one has a fair bit of nuking, as does the last Ottomans one (how to take 3 capitals in 7 turns). But it's rather underwhelming without the combat animations. Hopefully things will be changed so quick combat can be turned on mid-game.
What I'm going to do probably works better. I think you'll like it.
This is very true.
This.
I talk about this, in one of the videos that's not up yet. But you've come to the same conclusion as me.
Sure, but that's probably only 1 food and 1 gold from fishing boats, with the remaining 3 food from lighthouse (2) and base yield (1), and the remaining 1 gold from base yield.
The left side of the commerce tree is probably the worst possible thing to get for this map and strategy. Anyways, I do build the seaport eventually, but the video's probably not up yet ;)
Of course, the porcelain tower on its own, with the extra GS for early rationalism and +25% bonus to RAs in its own right, would be easily enough to get you below the 200 range.
I'm not sure taking all those cities was a good idea, especially if you aren't planning to sell them. At this point...
