You may be right, maybe it's just it. But I find it strange that the narrator put emphassis on Kongo's ability of building cities in the rainforest, instead of just food boost that gives them large population growth. There was another bonus that wasn't revealed in the First Look video...

Watching the First Look: Kongo video I found something that really bugs me up. At the end of the video the narrator says: Kongo "can grow city in the middle of rainforest" and later: "By establishing large midgame cities in the rainforst or wood Kongo can push any victory type"...

I'm not a Rhye myself, but I want to tell that I think that balance should prevail over realism. (I've seen many promising mods that were wasted by unbalanced gameplay and bad design decisions)

Propably a hoax. The image is framed and cropped so we can't see the face of the leader (I wonder why...). We know very little about a source of the leak (mysterious friend from Germany). I will not believe it untill I'll see a full picture.

I'm not conviced it's a female leader. The image attached in this thread looks very blurred and hard to read. It may as well be a woman or a man with black beard and a hat. If this is man with a beard it would most propably be a Mongol or Ottoman leader. (just another post in endless...
