Would anyone else pay to watch a video of Ed Beach reading this thread?

Not that I would...

Obviously it wasn't intentional. He was immediately remorseful!

Does anyone else find it kind of weird that Firaxis just pretended the leak didn't happen? As far as I'm aware there was no acknowledgement in any way--no statement, no joke on Twitter, nothing. Weird way to handle it.

It was his own intention at that moment. He just thought that he could reveal it. But it seems some people didn't like it, so they blocked civilopedia so that he couldn't do it again. Just in case.

Maybe the Polycast crew should ask/beg him for an interview? After the launch, of course. Ed would make the fans happy and Polycast might get a few more listeners than usual. Win-win.
Definitely. And if Ed does not agree there should be a fundraiser to persuade him. The truth must be known.
:D

We're doing what we can in an effort to get one or more Firaxians on PolyCast to discuss CivVI post-release.

How can you be so sure? It's only your supposition. Since you haven't been in his head, you cannot know what he was thinking at that moment (nobody can), you only can speculate. I find it strange that you are so deadly serious about this. You are writing tens of posts trying to prove your right, however you still uses the same arguments (strange hand move etc.) that evidently aren't convincing for a rest of the community.

Being sure to ask about the leader poster too. Was it a puzzle or some kind of early art style guide?

What happened to the Mary Celeste? What is the location of Atlantis? Who was Jack the Ripper?
Where is the tomb of Cleopatra? How can the script of the Indus Valley civilization be read? Why did Nero set fire to Rome?

These are some things that probably will remain mysteries forever. There are no witnesses left to recount what really happened. Sadly, the truth will remain hidden forever, at the loss of humanity's strive for knowledge and understanding, the very force that underpins the phenomenon of civilization.

Having Ed on the PolyCast will be a unique opportunity to find out about why he showed the leader list, about his subsequent disappearance, and about his replacement by a very convincing double from another planet. Should this opportunity go to waste, history will be left grieving for eternity.
