sorry to get off-topic from your thread on this.
I do know about those. I've seen them 2 or 3 levels ago. On my current on, I have my ranged units on hills that noone ever attacks and I know there isn't any unit within 3 tiles.
One turn I see all of those units down to 0.1 health. I didn't...
i played about 10 games and didn't get any quests, but on my last game i got the mountain (which I failed) and then another one where I had to build 9 trims. I finished taht one and got a choice of promotion for all my trims or +2 gold from each harbor.
that's what i feel too. The AI wars better now, but in other aspects it's not changed. And become it seems to emphesize war more now, it falls behind in other areas.
I've noticed that too. It seems too slow now.
Once I had about 20 units selected to load them onto galleys. Only about 10 fit, but all units just circled around for like a minute some loaded and the rest had all their movement points taken.
I've read before that BTS AI was supposed to be smarter. I normally play on emperor on warlords, so on my first game I tried prince and it was really easy.
So then I tried monarch and I'm still outperforming AI in research and military wise.
It does seem smarter and better decision making, but...
and the cost also varies by map size. If you play on huge map, you most likely have more resources. I once played on huge big&small map and had a lot of see resources. Each instance of sushi corp. in my city cost me about 150 gold in later stages of game. it was insane. I had spread it to quite...
this was happening to me on vanilla and warlords too.
It gets stuck at about 25%.
The way to fix it is to switch back to windows (press alt-tab or windows key button) and then switch back to civ and it loads right away then.
I have to do that every time I load the game (after initial load)
I have courthouses in all those cities. I'm playing archipelago map, so I have a lot fo sea resources. So does everyone else, so I can't trade them.
So it seems having lots of resources is bad for you when founding corporations as they lead to a lot of maintenance costs.
It seems cost to spread corporation is too high. I'm playing marathon game and cost per city is about 40 (it says that before I add corp. to city, but after I add it, my gold drops by about 100). I have sid's sushi and it gives 7 food and 40 culture. i don't think that 7 food is worth that much...
