if I had one to vote for (but it's not present in the list)
it would be having access to happiness and unhappiness in the city view screen
In my opinion, happiness is a major component of the game and I find myself often trying to optimize happy buildings Vs City Size and prevent growth
I...
so in the end, venice has the ability to anihilate completely a city state by buying it
wow I'm amazed
but that means venice is the worst
I mean even mongols tend to conquer all city states (as expected with their UB) they can find but at least you can liberate them afterward ...
edit: ok...
As in the title
some city state got bought by Venice and then
Japan declared war on venice
Japan Conquered capital of venice
capital transfered to the city state that was bought
Japan "razed" the last city of Venice (e.g. a city state at first)
I say "razed" in quotes cause I didn't see...
for the 1.14 fix do you need to start a new game for it to be effective ?
I'm asking because I upgraded to 1.14 in a running game and I just got that bug where once you get out of diplomacy you stay with the spinning globe mouse cursor.
I fixed it by opening civilopedia.
that said maybe I have...
after seeing your post bc1 I felt like retrying and in fact have found what bothers me :
the application stays full screen always even when you alt tab xD
but yeah in fact it seems I can alt tab just fine, it just won't minimize on alt tab hence why I thought it wasn't responding
shift tab...
ha thanks for the replies
yeah I didn't know about puppets, I guess that's also because for me, puppets are more like temporary when in the middle of an ongoing war
hello,
I'm not sure and I chose egality in my current game
but honestly when I have a good look at it
in autocracy you have :
-Militarism => 6 guaranteed happiness for each city
-Fortified Borders => 3 guaranteed happiness for each city
total 9 local happiness for every city, since all...
good idea but no space on desk xD
so need larger desk, which needs larger room, which needs larger house
ho wait that's gonna be expensive me thinks xD
hahaha
on the other hand dealing with the limitations of the OS you design your applications for, is the job of the application developer
personally I feel like being able to use 99% of the ressources of a computer is good design, because it might be wanted in some situations, and let's be...
you're joking right ?
I mean ok civ 5 is pretty for a turn based game but that's pretty much it
Skyrim with tons of mods is very pretty and has near instantaneous startup time
so no I don't think the graphics have anything to do with the time it takes to startup & load a game
and as I said...
maybe I'll try to run it in a window though I don't much like to run games in a window
@docbud
no it doesn't really depend from all that, or rather yes it's influenced but you knowing that stuff won't change a single thing
but since you asked for it:
i7-2600k
16Gb RAM
GTX470 oc...
is there a way to make civ 5 not hog all ressources when loading ?
I'm a multitasker at heart and
my main annoyance with civ 5 is the long loading times (mainly when launching & reloading a savegame)
well it's not really THAT long
but the fact that you can't ALT-Tab or Shift-Tab (steam...
