Suffering from exactly the same problem, just randomly started happening a dew days ago. If i start a game i can save it, and load it. But only in that session of Civ 5. If I come back the next day the save game will not load, instead giving me that error. I've search around and others...

I've broken peace treaties before, does this only hapen to you occassionally? Perhaps its related to certian aspects of the game.

Did you actually read the link in the 1st post? Well recognised bugs that 2k games acknowlegded even before the release of the game they were never patched. Also support for the PC game was particularly dire, i expect as a result of the sales differential between consoles and PC.

Also it doesn't help that different victory conditions seem vastly unbalanced. Going for a cultural win just seems a lot lot harder than a military/science win mainly beacuse science itself is so powerful.
